The Telegraph (CW) unit can be used with the main boards of the "Rosa", "Klopik", "Sloboda" transceivers and in other designs which designed to operate the phone on a single side band (SSB). When developing this unit, the task was to make a simple device that satisfies both the inexperienced Telegraph operator and the Amateur radio operator who has devoted many years to working on the key.
The CW block has built-in:
- automatic Telegraph key (RA3RBE),
- Telegraph quartz generator, and a
The core of the automatic Telegraph key scheme is the ATTiny13 microcontroller. It generates an output Telegraph signal with a ratio of 1:3, and regulates the transmission rate over a wide range of speeds. The variable resistor R5 regulates the transmission speed of the automatic Telegraph key.
The Telegraph quartz generator is made on the JFET transistor according to the three-point capacitive scheme. The CW generator is controlled by a key on the JFET transistor. The level of the Telegraph signal at the output of the unit is set by the tuning resistor .
On the chip 561 series , an RC self-control generator is made; its output is connected to the input of the AF amplifier of transceiver via the "Control" terminals. The desired level of self-control is set by the tuning resistor.
